HOW pH Down WORKS:
pH Down is used for lowering the pH and Total Alkalinity of spa and hot tub water. The ideal pH of spa and hot tub water is between 7.2 and 7.6. If a test kit reading indicates that the pH is less that 7.2, you will probably experience itchy skin and eye irritations. When used to maintain proper pH levels, this product eliminates eye irritation, chlorine odor and corrosion caused from low pH
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
This product should be used on an as needed basis to maintain proper pH. If a test kit reading indicates that the pH is more than 7.6 or the Total Alkalinity is greater than 120, sprinkle 2 1/4 teaspoons of pH Down directly into spa for every 500 gallons. Wait 2 hours and test again. If still low, continue adding. If pH reading is below 7.2, add pH Up per label directions.
APPLICATION:
Maintain continuous circulation, distribute required amount in the middle of the spa or in front of a jet.
