Description
How do you know which type of cord your cleaner takes? Here’s an easy way to tell.
Generally if your cord installs through the TOP of the cleaner, it takes a cable with part numbers ending in -DIY. These cords come with the motor plug already attached and the opening on the cleaner housing itself is large enough for this type of plug to go through.
If your cord installs through the SIDE of the cleaner, it takes a cable with part numbers ending in -ASSY. These cords have RAW wire ends and require a Retrofit Kit to attach the cable to the motor. Generally the opening on the cleaner housing itself is too small for the cord to go through with the plug on the end and therefore the wires need to be threaded through the opening first and the plug installed after.
