FAFCO®’s 40 years of innovation and patented technology have made it easy to heat your pool with solar energy. Cold water is pumped from your pool through our patented solar collector design. Like a garden hose lying in the sun, the collector heats the water inside, which is then pumped back into your pool giving you luxuriously warm water and a significantly longer swim season.

FAFCO’s 3′ 9″ x 20′ Solar Bear solar pool heating systems for above-ground pools can be self-installed in as little as 30 minutes and adds value to your pool and house. A Solar Bear solar pool heater can heat an 18′-24′ round pool and is designed to work well with any pool pump. (Will not work with Intex pool filters) Solar Bear technology uses the sun’s natural energy in a cost-effective way to warm your water. Each 3′ 9″ x 20′ solar panel will add 10 degrees temperature rise and each panel offers 80,000 BTU.
